AlwaysFree: US Oil Production Rose in July

In its monthly report, the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) said that the country’s oil production rose in July by 31,000 bpd to 11.307 million bpd.

The figure was higher compared to the revised 11.276 million bpd in June.

July’s output was pushed up by the output gains in Texas of 28,000 bpd and in the Gulf of Mexico by 56,000 bpd. On the contrary, output in the second-largest oil-producing state, North Dakota, fell 9,000 bpd from a month earlier.

Demand for gasoline in July was 9.313 million bpd while demand for diesel and other distillate fuels was 3.658 million bpd.

Regarding natural gas, output in the US Lower 48 states climbed 0.5 bcfd to the highest level in 16 months of 104.5 bcfd, scoring the second month in a row of increases. In Texas, output jumped by 0.9% to 29.3 bcfd in July and went down by 0.3% in Pennsylvania to 20.7 bcfd.
