A source from BASF-YPC Company Limited informed SSESSMENTS.COM that the company has restarted production at its PS unit. The company’s polystyrene (PS) unit located in Jiangsu, China, has finished the maintenance work on June 16 and resumed production within this week. Previously, the producer’s PS unit with a capacity of 200,000 tons/year was shut for maintenance purposes on May 5.
