Hyosung Vina Chemicals Co., Ltd. has selected LyondellBasell’s Spheripol technology to be used at its new polypropylene (PP) plant in Cai Mep Industrial Zone in the Vietnamese province of Vung Tau, according to LyondellBasell’s announcement on March 4. As SSESSMENTS.COM noted, the new facility will be able to produce up to 300,000 tons/year of PP. Hyosung also chose the Spheripol technology for its previous PP project.
