- An Indonesian converter reported to SSESSMENTS.COM on receiving PP Homo Raffia offers from a Vietnamese PP producer at $860/ton on LC at sight, CIF Indonesia main port basis. The converter commented that the offers were too high as the crude oil prices plunged. The converter also received offers for cargoes of South Korea origin between $790-810/ton with the same payment and delivery terms. Although the levels are lower than offers for Vietnam origin, the converter opined that the offers were also unattractive.
- A Vietnamese trader informed SSESSMENTS.COM that PP Homo Raffia offers for May shipment from a Saudi producer increased between $150-170/ton compared to the last deals for April shipment. Currently, offers from the producer stand at $900/ton on LC at sight, CIF Vietnam main port basis. Similarly, a Thai PP producer also continues to increase offers. This week, the producer adjusted up PP Homo Raffia offers by $40/ton compared to last week, available at $850/ton on the same payment and delivery term.
