- A Philippines converter reported to SSESSMENTS.COM that the company submitted an inquiry for LLDPE Film C4 from the leading polyolefins producer in the country. The producer quoted PHP50,000/ton ($988/ton) on cash, FD Philippines basis and including 12% VAT for the grade. Compared to the last offers received by the converter in mid-February, the current price is PHP9,000/ton ($178/ton) lower. For import cargoes, the converter received offers from the leading Saudi polyolefins producer for HDPE Film at $830/ton while LLDPE Film C4 at $780/ton on LC at sight, CIF Philippines main port basis. However, the producer did not make any procurements yet, neither local nor imports.
- An Indonesian converter informed SSESSMENTS.COM that offers for LLDPE Film C4 from Russia stand at $670/ton on LC at sight, CIF Indonesia main port basis. The offers were received from a Vietnamese trader, but the shipment is still from Russia. Therefore, despite the attractive level, the converter did not take the cargoes considering the long delivery time. Due to the same reason, the converter was also uninterested in procuring LLDPE Film C4 cargoes from Saudi offered between $740-750/ton with the same payment and delivery terms.
