- For the week commencing April 13, SSESSMENTS.COM noted that the fresh price list from the leading Indonesian polyolefins producer surfaced with downward adjustments. For HDPE Film, hefty reductions of between IDR1,210,000-1,400,000/ton ($76-88/ton) were recorded. While for LLDPE Film C4, the offers were adjusted down by IDR280,000/ton ($18/ton). All adjustments compared to last week’s price list announced on April 6.
- An Indonesian converter reported to SSESSMENTS.COM that the company received local HDPE Film offers, which are lower around IDR1,000,000/ton ($63/ton) from last week. Despite the adjustment, the converter decided to skip the procurement owing to sufficient inventory on hand. Moreover, the converter needs to keep their inventory as low as possible as they are running production at a reduced rate on the back of sluggish finished products sales and logistical constraints due to the large-scale social restriction.
