- A Chinese trader informed SSESSMENTS.COM regarding the latest offers and adjustment on local PE cargoes across all grades. As of March 25, local offers for HDPE Film remain unchanged. Meanwhile, local offers for LDPE Film dipped by CNY100/ton ($14/ton), while LLDPE Film C4 offers dropped between CNY50-100/ton ($7-14/ton). All compared to Tuesday’s level.
- In the import market, another Chinese trader reported to SSESSMENTS.COM about April shipment offers from a Saudi producer. As compared to March shipment, offers for HDPE Film at $770/ton decreased by $65/ton. For LDPE Film, the offers dropped by $30/ton, currently stand at $860/ton. While for LLDPE Film C4, the offers are available at $800/ton, dipped by $25/ton. All offers are on LC at sight, CIF China Main Port basis. The trader did not purchase LLDPE Film C4 cargoes from the producer and yet to hear any deals concluded for the cargoes in the market as the offer is considered too high. However, for HDPE Film and LDPE Film, the trader decided to purchase some volume at the initial offer levels.
