Saudi Aramco last week announced the signing of 22 new Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and one joint venture (JV) with various partners concerning four key sectors: technology, sustainability, advanced materials, and industrial and energy services. The signings are part of Aramco’s efforts to expand its industrial investment program, called Aramco Namaat. Aramco Chairman Yasir Al-Rumayyan said Namaat would help further drive Saudi Arabia’s economic growth and diversification.
The signatories of the MoUs include Solvay, DHL, Veolia, Air Liquide, Haliburton, PIF, Baker Hughes, Linde, Schlumberger, AIC Steel, GSW, Honeywell, McDermott, Seyang and Sendan, NARMEL, Samsung Engineering, Hyundai, Saipem, Elion, Green Groves, Gulf Modular Industry (GMI), Armorock, Shell AMG Recycling, Aveva, and Baosteel.
