Iran announced three giant oil, gas and petrochemical projects to be inaugurated on Monday, August 25. The ceremony will be attended by Iranian President Hassan Rouhani through a video conference. After the U.S had failed in its attempt to provoke a trigger mechanism and opposed by 13 other members of the UN Security Council, Iran launched three important oil projects in only a few days apart. The inauguration meant to showcase Iran's undisputable power against the U.S of these oil against the failed U.S strive in the trigger mechanism.
Undeterred by the sanction imposed by the U.S against Iranian oil sectors, the implementation of plans and projects in the industry has never halted, nevertheless, the oil projects have been carried out at a faster pace. The 6th and 9th of the national gas transmission lines, also with five gas-pressure boosting stations from Assaluyeh to Miandoab are one of the most important projects operating after the inauguration, and this operation will increase the country’s gas transmission capacity by 110 million cubic meters/day.
Currently, Iran has been exporting its gas to Turkey, Azerbaijan, Iraq, and Armenia and the operation of this new pipeline will pave the country’s way for increased export of gas.
