On Monday, Iranian oil minister Bijan Zanganeh stated that Iran will collaborate with China on the oil sector in a long-term framework of the 25-year comprehensive cooperation road map.
Previously in a meeting on June 21, Iran's cabinet of ministers approved the final draft of the bilateral cooperation. After being finalized, the road map will have to be ratified by the Iranian Parliament. It was later first announced by the Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on July 5.
Iran denied some baseless claims from some foreign media against the document. The roadmap is deemed to be unacceptable and unbelievable for the US as it enables Iran to resist the US sanctions.
